Our brand new classic colonial and Mexican folk art ceramic talavera tile patterns were inspired by old European and Spanish hacienda tradition found in the old noble houses and palaces throughout Latin America, Europe and Mexico. Mexican talavera tile dimensions are approximate therefore while installing them on the wall leaving 1/4 spaces between each talavera tile is recommended.
Hand painted talavera tiles are water resistant therefore beside kitchen backsplash walls and counter-tops are often used for bathroom and shower walls and low traffic floor areas.
